Ilja Karsikas

Ilja Karsikas is an illustrator and graphic designer from Helsinki, who has illustrated numerous children's picture books. In his picture books, he dives deeper than the picture surface, into his own reflections and into the world of a child. In his work Amos ja sumupuu (Etana Editions 2017), Karsikas deals with the father's depression and recovery from the son's point of view in an understandable and touching way.
