Basis and purpose of personal data processing

Data content of the register

Etana Editions Oy's customer register may contain the following personal data:

• first and last name and/or the name of the organization you represent, address information, email address, phone number and other contact information
• the prohibitions, restrictions, consents and other choices you make regarding the use of the service
• information you provide, generate or link about yourself or the organization you represent
• necessary information related to the use of identification and authentication services
• the start and end time of your customer service
• information about customer service events
• information about the payment service you use, including payment information
• information collected from the use of our website, such as IP address or cookie information
• sales, marketing and communication implementation data related to you
• content you produce yourself, such as customer feedback
• information related to data processing, such as recording date and data source
• any other information collected and stored with your consent

Personal data storage and storage period

Personal data is stored in the customer register for the duration of the customership and for two years after termination of the customership. After this, information gathered from customer cooperation can only be used for scientific or statistical purposes, without connection to personal data.

Data sources of personal data

Personal data is collected from you in connection with the use of websites, online store customer service, registration as an online store customer account holder, registration as a newsletter subscriber and the implementation of marketing communications. We also collect information when you participate in product and service development, research or surveys.

Information is also obtained using cookies or other similar technologies on our website. Cookies are used to collect the following information: visitor's IP address, time of visit, pages browsed and page viewing times, visitor's browser. As a user of our website, you have the option to prevent the use of cookies at any time by changing the settings of your web browser: you can turn off cookie functions and delete already saved cookies. Blocking the use of cookies may affect the functionality of our website.

Transfer and transfer of personal data outside the EU or EEA

Rights of the registrant

As a registered user, you have the right to check what information about you has been stored in our customer register and to correct incorrect information about you. Inspection and correction requests are sent in writing to Etana Editions Oy's e-mail address shop@etanaeditions.com. You will receive a reply from us after we have verified your identity.

You have the right to prohibit Etana Editions Oy from processing information about you and using it for direct marketing by notifying the prohibition in writing by e-mail. In this case, however, we will keep the information about the marketing ban in our register.

You have the right to request the deletion of your data from Etana Editions Oy's customer register by requesting it in writing by e-mail.

You have the right to receive the personal data you have provided to Etana Editions Oy, which we process with your consent, and transfer them to another data controller.

You have the right to demand that Etana Editions Oy limit the processing of your personal data. You also have the right to deny profiling. In either case, you should send your request to us in writing by email.
