Siri Ahmed Backström (born 1980) is a Swedish illustrator and children's author who studied graphic design and illustration at the Konstfack University of Art in Stockholm. She lives and works in Stockholm.
Backström has written several children's books and published them herself and in collaboration with different publishers. In 2014, Backström received the prestigious Snöbollen, Sweden's Picture Book of the Year award, for her sensitive illustrations in the book Dom som är kvar, written by Karin Saler.
