Collection: Meria Palin

Meria Palin is an illustrator and author of picture books living in Tampere. She graduated with a master's degree in children's book illustration from Cambridge School of Art in 2019.
Palin's debut work Taikapuikot (Etana Editions, 2019) is a silent book, where the story is told exclusively with pictures. The story of a mother and daughter on a cold winter's day, drawn with a delicate touch and with only two colors, was selected as one of The Most Beautiful Children's Books in Finland in 2020.
In addition to picture books, Meria illustrates picture trails in the surroundings of Kulttuurikeskus Tahmelan Huvila in Tampere, inviting families with children to go out in the nature and have fun doing orientation by stories and images.
