Collection: Katri Tapola

Katri Tapola is a writer living in Helsinki, who has published thirty works for both adults and children. Her production includes novels, short prose, children's novels and children's picture books with several illustrators. Tapola's first work was awarded with the Helsingin Sanomat literature prize and the first children's novel with the Arvid Lydecken prize. For Etana Editions, Katri has written a book of evening fairy tales for the youngest members of the family, Lyhtyjen maa (2020), whose atmospheric pictures are illustrated by Karoliina Pertamo. She has also translated into Finnish Frank Furu's touching story about a refugee child arriving in Finland alone, Mutta te ette ole äiti (Etana Editions 2021).
