Collection: Karin Saler

Karin Saler (b. 1974) is a Swedish writer. She received the Swedish Picture Book of the Year award, Snöbollen, for her first children's book Dom som är kvar, together with the illustrator of the book, Siri Ahmed Backström. He, jotka jäävät jäljelle was published by Etana Editions in 2019 (Finnish translation by Kirsikka Myllyrinne). The work subtly deals with the death of a grandparent and how the life of the child and the whole family changes, but continues after their loss.
