Collection: Harri Hertell

Harri Hertell (b. 1985 ) is a Helsinki-based poet, spoken word artist, cultural producer and DJ. In his debut collection Kunnes oppii kävelemään he describes life in the capital, while in his more recent production he has moved towards aphorism-like and reduced nature poetry. Hertell has also founded the Helsinki Poetry Connection collective. In addition to organizing stage poetry events, Hertell is known as the frontman of the spoken word group Hertell & Hertell and the dub poetry duo Dubros. His poems have been translated into Spanish, German, English, French, Czech, Polish and Catalan. Hertell was awarded the Uusimaa Art Award in 2021.
