Collection: Marianna Madriz

Marianna Madriz is an illustrator born in Venezuela who lives and works in London, UK. She is interested in magical realism, coming-of-age stories and unique characters. Therefore, it is very natural that she is the one who has illustrated the Pieni opas suureen elämään series of picture books published by Etana Editions in Finnish. The books tell about experts of various fields who have lived an extraordinary, sometimes even magical life, such as Stephen Hawking (Etana Editions 2019), who has survived through extraordinary difficulties. Hawking's wonderful life story has been translated into Finnish by Kirsikka Myllyrinne.
