Collection: Isabel Thomas

Isabel Thomas is an English science journalist and children's author who has written more than a hundred books for children and young people and whose books have been nominated for awards on several occasions. Thomas studied humanities at Oxford and also trained as a journalist, and she regularly writes for children's science magazines.
Pieni opas suureen elämään book series published in Finnish by Etana Editions fascinates readers of all ages, and has found a large number of readers also in translations. Thomas has written for the series e.g. empowering stories about the life stages of Frida Kahlo and Stephen Hawking (Etana Editions 2019). Marianna Madriz is the illustrator of the books and Kirsikka Myllyrinne and Tiina Erkintalo are the Finnish translators.
